Glasgow Middle School's NEW Principal

Ms. Barrow currently is serving as the principal at Cooper MS. She has served as a special education teacher, a special education department chair, and an assistant principal. She also was principal at Sleepy Hollow ES, a feeder school to Glasgow, also in the Justice HS pyramid.  Ms. Barrow has also led division-wide professional development for all employees in her role as Director of Professional Growth and Career Development.

Ms. Barrow is dedicated to creating a thriving school environment where all students can excel. She's committed to high academic standards and a positive school culture. With her diverse experience in Fairfax County Public Schools, and her time as a principal in the pyramid, she understands the needs of Glasgow students and knows how to work effectively with staff and families.

Ms. Barrow has a compassionate and collaborative leadership style. She will be an approachable and engaged leader who will be a great asset to Glasgow. She holds a Bachelor’s of Science and a Masters of Arts in Education, both from University of Connecticut. She has served in administrative leadership roles since 2003, and is happy to return to the Justice HS pyramid area.
