Dr. Herr has held numerous leadership roles before coming to Glasgow Middle School. These include acting assistant principal at Stenwood ES, ESOL Summer School Coordinator, After School Coordinator, ESOL coach, and ESOL Department Chair at Francis C Hammond MS and Cora Kelly Elementary School for Math, Science, and Technology. She is a National Board-Certified Teacher in English as a new language and has taught ESOL across all contents and levels K-12. Dr. Herr loves biking, soccer, reading, traveling and spending time with her husband and two children.
