Mr. Powell holds degrees in Elementary Education Prek-6 and K-12 School Leadership. With over 16 years teaching and school leadership experience in public education, as well as a background in community engagement and multicultural education. Mr. Powell was an adjunct professor at Ball State University within the Educational Studies Department for Multicultural Education courses for secondary education majors. Mr. Powell brings a passion for student voice, instruction and community building to the team.  Outside of school and work, Mr. Powell enjoys teaching in his church, going to the playground with his two kids, and spending time working out within physical fitness.
