Glasgow Middle School Principal Victor Powell will host an estimated 260 students and their parents in sessions designed to boost reading, math and social-emotional skills, as well as get students and parents alike inspired to think about college and goal-setting for the future.

Glasgow Middle School staff participated in a team building workshop on August 18. This workshop encouraged Glasgow staff to think through all elements of product delivery as a united group: the importance of time management, collaboration, what individual skills each person brought to the process, as well as the customer’s specific needs and wants.

The mobile library occurs on the 1st Monday of the month in the community at Bailey’s Community Center, Dar Al-Hijrah Islamic Center, Willston Multicultural Center and Woodrow Wilson Public Library. Please reserve your books online or come browse the books at each site. There are also free books for ALL.

Curbside check-out occurs monthly on the 2nd Monday of the month at Glasgow Middle School. It’s another time that you can come browse books or pick up the books you reserved online. It is open each Monday from 10:30am – 12:30pm.

Several Glasgow Middle students have been recognized for their work in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) activities. Yabesra Ewnetu earned first place in the essay competition at the Robert H. Herndon Memorial Science Competition, sponsored by the Aerospace Corporation.
